How to replace the door striker anchor plate on 2000 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The door lock pillar trim and the center pillar trim panels should be removed to install the door striker anchor plate. Mark the position of striker, remove screws, striker, shims, and anchor plate. Install the new anchor plate, shims, and striker and position it where the mark is aligned and then install the trim again.
