Installation of the front door striker requires marking its position first followed by removing screws and both pins of the door lock striker as well as spacers and the washer when present. Place the washer first then insert any removed spacers before installing the striker at the already marked position. The door lock striker screws should be tightened to 25 N.m (18 lb ft) as you inspect the connection between the lock and striker. Follow one of two lock striker adjustment procedures depending on whether the application uses a mini wedge or not.

The first step for replacing the rear door striker requires removal of the rear quarter lower trim to reach the anchor plate. Begin by marking the strike position on the rear door with a grease pencil followed by taking out the screws from the striker then removing the striker and shims while finishing with the anchor plate removal. The installation process starts with anchoring the plate followed by placing the strikers along with lock shims before securing the screws. To install the lock striker properly, line up its position with the earlier pencil marks before securing the screws to 24 N.m (18 lb ft). The lock striker requires adjustment depending on situation. In the last step install the rear quarter lower trim back into its original position.

Start the front door striker replacement by noting down where the striker will go and removing screws fastening the door lock striker and any present spacers while also uninstalling the washer if it exists. First install the washer and removed spacers followed by placing the striker at the marked position. Fasten the door lock striker screws at 25 N.m (18 lb ft) torque. Complete the inspection of the striker-to-lock connection after which perform any required adjustments.

The front door striker replacement process begins with the necessary mark of the striker position before proceeding to remove the anchor plate and body lock pillar. Begin by marking the striker position before proceeding to remove its screws then extract the striker. You should remove both the spacers along with the washer if required. Start the installation process by setting the washer into place after which you should add the spacers according to requirement followed by positioning the striker at the designated mark. Screw in the striker screws allowing them to reach a torque value of 24 N.m (18 lb ft). Last, inspect the striker and refer to Door Lock Striker Adjustment procedures with or without Mini Wedge for any needed adjustments.

Start by placing the washer back, followed by any spacers that were removed, and then install the striker at the marked location.

Adjust the lock striker if necessary.

Inspect the striker-to-lock engagement; if adjustment is necessary, follow the procedures for door lock striker adjustment with or without a mini wedge.

Mark the position with a grease pencil.

Use a grease pencil to mark the position.

Install the lock shims and striker, followed by the lock striker screws.

Mark the position with a grease pencil.

Tighten the screws to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

First, remove the trim panel.

Install the nut plate, then the washer, followed by the spacer, and finally the striker.

Tighten the striker bolt to 67 N.m (49 lb ft).

First, remove the trim panel.

Finally, reinstall the water deflector and the trim panel.

Finally, install the bolts that retain the lock striker and tighten them to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

Take out the striker.

First install the washer, then the spacer, and the striker.

Tighten the door striker to 67 N.m (49 lb ft).

The washer and the spacer should be removed next.

Take out the two bolts that secure the lower striker to the stepwell.

Position the door lock striker spacers and the door lock striker according to the alignment marks made on the body.

Remove the center pillar upper trim panel, center pillar lower trim panel, and quarter lower trim panel (Rear Striker).

Install the two bolts to secure the lower striker to the stepwell, tightening them to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the bolts to secure the door lock striker in place.

Adjust the door lock striker.

Adhere to the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Position the door lock striker spacers and the door lock striker according to the alignment marks made on the body.

Remove the center pillar upper trim panel (Front Striker) and the center pillar lower trim panel (Front Striker).

First, remove the door lock striker bolts, followed by the door lock striker and the door lock striker spacer.

First, remove the two bolts that secure the side door upper striker to the door.

Mark the position of the striker with a grease pencil.

Ensure that the front door striker properly engages with the front door lock and that the front door is flush, avoiding any attempts to raise or lower the front door with it.

Use the Door Lock Striker and Seat Belt Torx Wrench (J 29843-9).

Ensure to follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Adjust the door within the frame as needed, following the procedures for Rear Side Door Up/Down Adjustment, Rear Side Door Front Edge In/Out Adjustment, or Rear Side Door Rear Edge In/Out Adjustment.

First, install the spacer and insulator onto the striker.

Take out the two bolts that secure the rear storage compartment, if present, followed by the bolts.

Install the spacer and insulator onto the striker.

Position the lower striker back onto the vehicle and follow the fastener notice for proper installation.

Follow the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Detach the striker, spacer, washer, and nut plate.

Position the new striker onto the door, ensuring the narrow part of the wedge plate points toward the rear of the vehicle.

Remove the lower striker from the vehicle.

Remove the side door opening frame garnish molding.

Take out the three bolts that secure the rear door upper striker to the door opening.

Position the door lock striker back into the door opening and ensure to follow the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
