How to service and repair the trailing arm on 2000 Chevrolet Prizm?

In order to service the trailing arm, lift the vehicle and lift off the tire and wheel assembly. Unscrew the bolts and nuts and screw the trailing arm. Make sure that the tires are tightened before the weight of the vehicle is put on them. Install the tire again, raise the vehicle, and stabilize the suspension and then check the rear wheel alignment.
