How to service the MAP Sensor on 2000 Chevrolet Tracker?

Start by disconnecting the electrical connector from the MAP sensor before you remove the 2 MAP sensor attaching bolts and extract the MAP sensor from its position on the intake plenum. Apply clean engine oil on the MAP sensor vacuum port seal before reinstalling the MAP sensor into the intake plenum. Secure the MAP sensor to the intake plenum by affixing it with 2 bolts and tightening them to 3.5 N.m (30 lb in). Then connect the electrical connector back to the MAP sensor .
