  A: In order to service and repair the Oil Cooler, first drain the engine coolant from the engine cooling system. Lift and support the vehicle and disconnect the knock sensor electrical connector. Take out the Oil Filter then remove the Oil Cooler outlet hose and keep it aside. Then, take apart the Oil Cooler connector and the Oil Cooler inlet hose clamp, and the Oil Cooler itself. Clean and inspect the surface of the engine block prior to mounting the Oil Cooler and the Oil Cooler inlet hose clamp excluding ensuring that the Oil Cooler seal is in place and oiled with the engine oil. Tighten the Oil Cooler connector 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.), mate the Oil Cooler outlet hose and fit the Oil Filter. Connect the knock sensor electrical connector, bring the vehicle down, and fill the engine cooling system with engine coolant. Put some engine oil as needed and check Oil Cooler for leaks.
