• Q: How to replace the ABS Control Module on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

  A: The first step for ABS Control Module replacement requires switching the ignition switch to off followed by removal of the power steering fluid reservoir bolt. Set the power steering fluid reservoir to one side. After pulling the upper Radiator Hose from the engine position it on one side of the compartment. First detach the relay center cover then extract the Engine Control Module (ECM) while placing the ecm harness to the side. Making sure you switch off the ignition prevents equipment damage and prevents water along with brake fluid and engine coolant from entering the ABS Control Module/ebtcm connector while handling the ABS Control Module wiring harness.
