How to service and repair the front coil springs and shock absorber on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

In order to service and repair the suspension strut, assemble the tools required and detach the strut out of the vehicle. Compress the spring with the Strut Spring Compressor, and take them apart. To assemble it, one has to install the lower insulator and spring, then the upper parts. Lastly, replace the strut back to the car.
