  A: A replacement of the intake system Coolant Pipe starts with the removal of the Intake Manifold followed by removing its electrical connections from the engine coolant temperature/gage sensor and engine Coolant Temperature Sensor. Start by taking off hoses connected to the coolant bridge while also disconnecting the coolant bridge fittings. Finally detach the coolant bridge from the installation. Start by lifting the vehicle while providing support. Drain the engine oil then remove both parts of the oil filter housing. After lowering the vehicle start by loosening the oil cooler outlet line at the engine block. Unfasten the engine oil cooler fitting from its position on the engine oil cooler cover then reposition the oil cooler outlet line so you can reach the Coolant Pipe mounting bolts. Work through this sequence: remove the heater core bypass hose followed by the coolant intake pipe hose then the radiator outlet hose. Then proceed with support bolt removal and Coolant Pipe bolt removal. To access the intake pipe you must first slide the coolant tube backward from under the cowl's front edge and then remove the intake seal. Start the install by installing the intake pipe seal then sliding the coolant intake pipe under the front of the cowl to its proper position. Follow this order for bolt installation: install the coolant support intake bolt first at 20 nm and next tighten the coolant intake pipe bolts to 20 nm.
