For you to replace the Coolant Pipe in the intake system, you must first drain the engine coolants. Next, remove the transmission. Then, remove heater core bypass hose, the coolant intake pipe hose, the radiator outlet hose and the support bolt and bolts. Pull the coolant intake pipe rearward underneath the front of the cowl to disengage it, and after that, extract the intake pipe seal. For installation, first, mount the coolant intake pipe seal and slide the coolant intake pipe under the front of cowl in the proper mounting position. Mount the coolant intake pipe bolts and tighten down to 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.), followed by the coolant intake pipe support bolt at 20 nm (15 lb-ft), and then reconnect the radiator outlet hose, the coolant intake pipe hose, and the heater core bypass hose. Finally, reinstall the transmission and top up with the cooling fluids.
