  Disconnection of the negative Battery Cable is needed before beginning the electric Radiator Fan replacement. The bracket holding the secondary air cut-off must also be taken out together with the bolts before the Radiator Fan and finally the intake air resonator. Start by unlocking the self-locking tabs on the upper radiator covers followed by removing their screws and then the covers. The electrical connection for the primary Fan Motor along with the primary fan cooling switch electrical link needs to be disconnected. Start by removing the auxiliary Water Pump clips which leads to the removal of the auxiliary Water Pump from its position on the Fan Shroud. Afterwards, detach the transmission oil cooler fitting bolt and transmission oil cooler bracket bolt before repositioning the transmission oil cooler lines. Remove all Fan Shroud bolts then pull out the Fan Shroud from the vehicle. Lowering the Fan Motor nuts allows you to remove the Fan Motor from the Fan Shroud. First remove the Fan Blade retaining clip before taking out the Fan Blade from the Fan Motor assembly. To install the fan components begin by mounting the Fan Blade onto the Fan Motor body before fixing it with the Fan Blade retainer clip. Put the Fan Motor inside the Fan Shroud and tighten Fan Motor nuts by 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Position the Fan Shroud back into the vehicle before securing it with Fan Shroud bolts and torquing them to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). First install the upper transmission oil cooler pipe fitting with seals before tightening the transmission oil cooler fitting bolt to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) then the transmission oil cooler bracket bolt to the same torque specification. Install the auxiliary Water Pump onto the Fan Shroud by using retaining clips followed by connecting primary Radiator Fan switch electrical connector and primary Radiator Fan electrical connector. Place the upper radiator covers correctly before securing them with self-locking tabs while tightening the radiator cover screws to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Finish by screwing back the intake air resonator with secondary air cut-off valve bracket and its bolts to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.) while also reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
