How to replace the underhood fuse box on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to replace the under hood fuse block, loosen the cover and de-connect the negative battery cable. Then, disconnect the positive battery cable and the fasteners of the fuse block. Disengage the locking tabs and take off the fuse block. Turn in off all the electrical connections, reconnect the fuse block and attach the battery cables.
