The replacement process for the underhood Fuse Box begins by removing the negative Battery Cable followed by taking off the underhood electrical center cover. The positive Battery Cable nut needs disconnecting from the underhood electrical center and the wiring harness clip needs detaching from the accumulator cover before moving the cables safely out of reach. Disconnect the evaporator hose from the accumulator cover followed by removing the accumulator cover and its container from the housing. Begin the repair by unplugging the four cam lock connectors after loosening three screws that secure the underhood electrical center connectors. Then remove the assembly from its base position. The process starts with disconnecting the engine harness connector before you remove the underhood electrical center which requires you to unscrew and untighten base nut and bolt and finish by discarding the base assembly. To mount the underhood electrical center base into the vehicle, install it and secure it using the provided nut and bolt while tightening both pieces to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Connect the engine harness connector to the underhood electrical center and use the center connectors to fasten them by tightening all three retaining bolts to 6.6 n.m (58 lb in). After inserting the underhood electrical center into the four retaining locks install the accumulator and cover before securing the wiring harness into the clip on the accumulator cover which should position cables onto the stud. Install the positive Battery Cable nut at the underhood electrical center and torque it to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). After that, position the cover onto the underhood electrical center and connect the evaporator hose to the accumulator cover and secure the negative Battery Cable.

Proceeding with the replacement of the rear electrical center or junction block requires starting with removal of the rear seat cushion and negative Battery Cable disconnection while placing the ignition key in the lock position and turning off all electrical devices for safety. Your first step should be to take off the rear fuse block cover then separate the positive Battery Cable nut and positive Battery Cable from the rear electrical center. Lift the electrical center upward after unclipping its four retaining pieces. Then flip it over. Disconnected connectors of all types must be removed from the fuse block after removing its three connector fasteners. To perform installation service the connectors to the rear fuse block before using your hands to start the fasteners using a torque of 7 n.m (62 lb in). Fasten the rear electrical center into its base assembly while verifying the clips secure position before you connect the positive Battery Cable with its nut and finish securing it at 15 n.m (11 lb ft). The last step is to place back the seat cushion beneath and reattach the negative Battery Cable.

The first step to replace the underhood Fuse Box requires users to disconnect the negative Battery Cable from the battery followed by covering the underhood Fuse Box. The positive battery cables nut requires disconnection from the underhood Fuse Box followed by detachment of four locking tabs until the assembly clears the base. First drive off the three screws that retain the underhood Fuse Box connectors then remove the engine harness connector from this box to pull out the Fuse Box from the vehicle. First connect the engine harness electrical connector to the underhood Fuse Box along with a proper base placement while tightening the screw retaining connectors to 7 n.m (62 lb in). The Fuse Box installation process requires connecting the positive battery cables nut to the underhood Fuse Box before tightening it to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Then, fit the cover onto the underhood Fuse Box followed by reconnection of the negative Battery Cable to the battery.

Release the four retaining clips and lift the electrical center up and turn it over.

Press the underhood fuse block into the 4 retaining locks until an audible click is heard, then install the accumulator cover and the wiring harness into the clip on the cover.

Place the underhood fuse block base into the vehicle and install the fasteners, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Reconnect all the connectors to the rear fuse block and hand start the fasteners, tightening them to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

Disconnect the positive battery cables fastener from the underhood fuse block and detach the wiring harness clip from the accumulator cover, positioning the cables out of the way.

Remove the rear fuse block cover and the positive battery cable fastener from the battery cable.

Plug the electrical connectors into the fuse block while it is turned over.

Ensure all clips engage.

Remove the three connector fasteners and disconnect all the connectors from the fuse block.

Remove the underhood fuse block cover and disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
