How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

You need to empty the washer solvent reservoir before starting the windshield pump replacement. Start by taking out the right front wheelhouse piece before separating the washer line hose and electronic link from the washer pump. Pull the washer pump out of its storage position in the washer solvent container. Put the washer pump back in its solvent container and connect both the electrical connector and washer hose to the pump. Install the right front wheelhouse extension afterward then top off the washer solvent container.
