How to replace the Ambient Temperature Sensor on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Disconnection of the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor electrical connector must take place before starting the sensor replacement. Start by unscrewing the retaining screw from the sensor and then extract it from its position. Put the sensor back onto the bracket before installing the sensor screw and tighten it to 2 N.m (18 lb in). After installation of the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor secure the electrical connector to its location.
