You should install the accumulator ac p/n 15-1697 into the condenser tube which runs between condenser and Evaporator to prevent flushing requirements. Pivot to 60 mm (2.36 in) from the high side temperature sensor before marking and then proceed to 50.8 mm (1.99 in) beyond this initial spot for another mark. A tubing cutter should be used to cut the marked condenser tube section while maintaining metal burr-free tube edges. Install each cut end of the condenser tube with nuts and ferrules where the small ferrule opening faces the interior of the nut. Position the flow arrow of the accumulator towards the Evaporator before tightening nuts to 15 n.m (11 lb ft). You need to remove the nuts from the accumulator before applying 525 viscosity refrigerant oil to the o-rings. Install the prepared o-rings onto the Evaporator tube. The accumulator requires nuts that should be tightened until reaching 15 n.m (11 lb ft).
