How to replace the front wheel bearing and hub on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Start the hub and bearing replacement by lifting and stabilizing the vehicle. Put a drift punch into the rotor and push it to remove the Wheel Bearing retaining hardware and washer. Take out the brake rotor first then split the drive axle from the hub by using the front hub remover tool (J28733-B). Disconnect the abs sensor connector before taking off the Wheel Bearing and hub retaining bolts and hub from the assembly. Put the hub and bearing onto the Steering Knuckle before connecting the abs wheel speed sensor to the Wheel Bearing and hub. Use 95 nm or 70 ft. Lbs. Torque when installing the wheel hub and bearing bolts. Place the brake rotor first before putting in the drive axle washer and its retaining nut. Apply the drift punch to secure the drive axle nut to 145 nm after installing the tire and wheel. Finally, lower the vehicle.
