The process for replacing the outlet Radiator hose starts with partially draining the cooling system then taking off the upper filler panel and air cleaner assembly. The hose clamp pliers (J 38185) should be used first to unlink the outlet Radiator hose from the Thermostat Housing before switching to the hose clamp remover/installer (J 37097-A) for removing the hose from the Radiator. The new hose requires installation to the Radiator through the hose clamp remover/installer (J 37097-A) followed by hose attachment to the Thermostat Housing with hose clamp pliers (J 38185). First reinstall the air cleaner assembly followed by the surge tank outlet hose installation to the resonator's retaining feature then position the upper filler panel and fill the cooling system.
