How to Replace a Power Steering Hose on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?

A replacement of the power steering pressure hose begins by raising the vehicle on a hoist followed by placing down a drain pan under the Power Steering Pump and power steering gear. First detach the power steering pressure hose from both components at the Power Steering Pump and power steering gear positions and then remove the hose out of the vehicle. Set the power steering pressure hose on the vehicle and join it with the power steering gear while maintaining a tight connection of 27 nm (20 ft. Lbs.). The power steering pressure hose should be connected to the Power Steering Pump followed by securing the fitting with the same torque value. After lowering the vehicle you need to perform power steering system bleeding.
