How to replace the power door lock switch on 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier?

You need to start replacing the power door lock switch by pushing down at the top of the switch using a flat bladed tool to free the retainer then lifting to free the bottom retainer before turning the switch out from the door trim panel. First remove the power door lock switch from the door trim pad by disconnecting its electrical connector at the same time. Install the power door lock switch by connecting its electrical connector to the switch then gently returning it into the door trim panel before fully pushing the switch down for seating.
