    A: The first step to replace the bank 2 Secondary Air Injection Check Valve/pipe requires removing the Intake Manifold while monitoring for the air temperature caution. Detach the clamps and air hoses from the air system right pipe and afterwards remove the air pipe bolt from the Cylinder Head to extract the right air pipe from the manifold. Begin operation testing on the check valve of the air pipe after unscrewing it by attaching a Vacuum Pump to the nipple side of the check valve on the air pump side and reaching 10 inches hg pressure and observing the gauge; the vacuum should bleed down to zero within 5 seconds to confirm valve replacement. You should install the check valve onto the air pipe by tightening it using 23 n.m (17 lb ft) torque. Install the right air pipe to the Exhaust Manifold before securing it to 20 n.m (15 lb ft), afterward position the air pipe bolt from the Cylinder Head and complete installation with a check valve hose and clamp before reinstalling the Intake Manifold. Operating the air system can be checked before reinstallation of the negative Battery Cable to follow by idle learn procedure and transmitter programming.
