How to service the knock sensor on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

Turning off the ignition and lifting up the vehicle is required to service the knock sensor. Unconnect the wiring harness and unattached sensor off the engine block. Should not use thread sealant on the new sensor. Install, and then reconnect the wiring harness and then lower the vehicle.
