How to service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/Switch for the computer on 2001 Chevrolet Lumina?

To maintain the Coolant Temperature Sensor/ Switch, initially switch off the Ignition and coolant pressure. Take out the air intake duct and disconnect the electrical connector of ECT sensor. Take out the sensor, apply sealer to the threads, fit it in and reconnect. Turn on the engine, test it on leaks, and test the level of coolant.
