    To service the Coolant Temperature Sensor/switch (For Computer) should first turn off the ignition and release the coolant pressure. Loose the 2 air intake duct clamps and remove the air intake duct then disconnect the ect sensor electrical connection. Chewing gum but not fully covering it, ugly when realized... Using a deep well socket and extension, take out the sensor. For installation, apply a sealer p/n 9985253 or equivalent on the engine Coolant Temperature Sensor threads before installing them into the engine while tightening to a 23 nm (17 lb ft). Connect ect sensor electrical connector, re-install the air intake duct, and screw in the 2 air intake intake duct clamps. Turn on the engine to find leaks and ensure the level of the coolant.
