How to service the Ignition Control Module on Chevrolet Lumina?

The first step to service the Ignition Control Module includes disconnecting all electrical connectors at the Ignition Control Module making a note of spark plug wire positions before removing Spark Plug Wires from ignition coils. Separate the coils from the Ignition Control Module by removing the bracket-perfecting screws before disconnecting the coils. Start by removing the engine bracket fasteners which hold the Ignition Control Module assembly in place and after that extract the Ignition Control Module from its bracket. Put the Ignition Control Module on its bracket first before reinstalling the coils. Following the fastener notice in cautions and notices secure the Ignition Control Module assembly to the engine with the fasteners before reinstalling screws that need to be tightened to 4-5 nm (40 lb in). Reattach the Spark Plug Wires according to removal steps while connecting the electrical connectors to the Ignition Control Module.
