In order to service the Spark Plug wires, you must first turn the Ignition Switch to off. Make a note of the position of the Spark Plug wire retaining clips and remove them from the engine. Twist the Spark Plug boot 1/2 turn in order to release by pulling only on the boot without damaging the wire. Take off the Spark Plug wires (2,4,6) from front spark plugs by twisting its boot 1/2 turn before removing and the same for the Spark Plug wires (1,3,5) for the rear spark plugs. Next, put the Spark Plug wire retaining clips on the back end of the engine, followed by the Spark Plug wires from the
Ignition Coils and the engine. In case of replacing the Spark Plug wires, transfer the boot heat shields, spark plug wire conduit, and Spark Plug wire retaining clips. For installation, align the Spark Plug wires to the engine position and install them with the ignition coils in the right position. Mount the Spark Plug wires (1,3,5) to the rear spark plugs and fasten them with the retaining clips on the rear of the engine. Finally, insert the Spark Plug wires (2, 4, 6) to the front spark plugs and attach the retaining clips at the front of the engine.
