Turn off ignition, remove air cleaner outlet resonator, disconnect harness, unscrew and remove Idle Control Valve with O-ring. Clean sealing surface, pintle seat and air passage with mild carburetor cleaner. Install matching new valve and O-ring, use thread-locking screws, reconnect harness, reinstall resonator, perform reset (ignition on, off), then start engine and verify idle.
