The installation of a new rear door lower striker starts by taking out the two floor panel securing bolts. The new striker requires installation into its specified position following the removal of the rear door lower striker from the floor panel. Follow the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices before you install the bolts which connect the rear door lower striker to the floor panel using a torque of 10 N.m (89 lb in).
