How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2001 GMC Savana 3500?

To replace the manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP), turn off the ignition and remove the engine cover. Cut the MAP Sensor harness connector, without twisting or easing the MAP Sensor to prevent it from being damaged or the Intake Manifold being damaged. In the case where the original MAP Sensor is to be reused, replace the MAP Sensor to Intake Manifold grommet. Remove MAP Sensor by pulling straight up and slight rocking action, and dispose of the old MAP Sensor grommet. For installation, set a new MAP Sensor grommet on MAP Sensor, install MAP Sensor, and attach the MAP Sensor connecter wires back before replacing the engine cover.
