How to replace the rear brake line on 2001 GMC Yukon XL 1500?

When replacing the brake hose (Brake Hose), first and foremost lift and stabilize the vehicle with proper equipment. Then you should pull out the tire and wheel assembly. Remove all dirt and foreign materials from the hose fittings before detaching the hose from its connection on the axle. Take out the brake hose retaining clip followed by the brake hose bolt at the axle and the brake hose mounting bolt accompanied by its compression washers from the caliper. Throw away the washers after removing the brake hose. When installing the brake hose use care while fitting the new tubing without twisting it and fasten it to the caliper using both brake hose mounting bolt and compression washers. Tighten the bolt to 45 nm (33 foot pounds). Secure axle brake hose bolt and bracket parts using 25 nm torque setting then install brake hose retention clip. Attach the brake pipe and secure it by torquing to 25 nm. End the procedure by bleeding the brakes then putting back the tire and wheel assembly while taking out the security stands and lowering the vehicle.
