How to replace the rear crankshaft seal on 2002 Buick Century?

Before changing the crankshaft rear oil seal you must remove the engine Flywheel while being cautious not to damage the crankshaft sealing surface. Insert a flat-bladed tool through the dust lip at an angle to remove the crankshaft rear oil seal by moving the handle toward the crankshaft end while repeating the process if needed. Cover the new crankshaft rear oil seal with engine oil before installing it onto the rear main seal installer (J 34686). Provide the rear main seal installer (J 34686) to the crankshaft rear while fastening its screws firmer until the seal maintains correct alignment. Install the crankshaft rear oil seal by applying engine oil to its surface then put it on the crankshaft while tightening the wing nut on the rear main seal installer (J 34686) until the wing nut reaches its maximum position. After removing the crankshaft this installer should be taken off to install the Flywheel back into its position.
