How to replace the Hood Cable on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

To replace the Hood Cable, you will open the hood and remove the Left Diagonal brace. Take out the air cleaner assembly and unconnect the hood cable from the hood latch. Remove retainers and remove the cable from the release handle. Use a wire to assist with the new cable installation then reinstall components and test the cable.
