Begin service by putting wipers in park mode then record the location of Wiper Blade on glass either with tape or drawn lines. Unfasten the washer hose at the air inlet panel after you remove its cover to reveal the Wiper Arm nut. Following that, unscrew the nut from the Wiper Arm. You should use the j 39822 tool to separate the Wiper Arm from its Drive Shaft position. Following that clean the shaft knurls with a wire brush before uninstalling the Wiper Blade. Put the Wiper Blade on the Wiper Arm and place the Wiper Arm alongside the mark you made earlier on the windshield for correct positioning. Set the Wiper Arm on the Drive Shaft and fasten it using the nut before tightening it to 32 n.m. Fasten the washer hose to the air inlet grille surface and install the nut retaining plate. Test the wiper operation to verify correct operation.
