  A: The vehicle needs to be raised before beginning work on replacing the exhaust manifold pipe at the rear. Dismantle the 4 mounting nuts which maintain the Catalytic Converter to the exhaust manifold rear pipe. A rearward exhaust position enables the studs around the Catalytic Converter to escape from the exhaust manifold rear pipe. Discard the Catalytic Converter Gasket and avoid putting it back in use. The installation begins with removing two bolts which fasten the exhaust manifold rear pipe to each of the right exhaust manifold and exhaust manifold front pipe. Remove the exhaust manifold rear pipe together with its gasket and extract both the exhaust manifold pipe seal and exhaust manifold flange seal retainer from the exhaust manifold front pipe. Begin the installation process by setting the new exhaust manifold pipe seal in addition to the exhaust manifold flange seal retainer onto the exhaust manifold rear pipe flange followed by using the 2 retaining bolts and lightly tightening them. Torque) before tightening the 2 bolts of the exhaust manifold flange seal retainer to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs. Torque). Set the new Catalytic Converter Gasket onto the Catalytic Converter studs and position the Catalytic Converter with the exhaust manifold rear pipe before securing it with 4 nuts at a torque of 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
