How to replace the trunk/liftgate hinge on the removable rear panel mid gate on 2002 Cadillac Escalade?

In order to remove the trunk/ liftgate hinge of the rear mid gate, simply have the rear seat folded back and make sure the mid gate is standing straight and fastened. Peel off the hinge trim cover, remove the retaining nuts and remove the hinge. Install the retaining nuts, press the trim cover on, and place the hinge back.
