You need to raise the vehicle for sensor and switch replacement work on the engine oil pressure system. The electrical connector of the engine oil pressure switch requires unhooking before the switch can be removed from the oil filter adapter. When installing the engine oil pressure switch onto the oil filter adapter it should receive a torque specification of 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Reinstall the electrical connector to the engine oil pressure switch before lowering the vehicle. Adjust the engine oil to the full mark level and tighten the pressure switch to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.). Bleeding and leak tests should take place following the engine startup.
