How to replace the inside air temperature sensor on 2002 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to replace the inside air temperature sensor, it is necessary to remove the center instrument panel accessory trim plate and the driver knee bolster trim panel first. Carefully press on the tabs of the sensor to release the inside air temperature sensor from the driver knee bolster trim panel. For installation, align the inside air temperature sensor with driver knee bolster trim panel and push to secure the retaining tabs, to ensure it fits into the end of the inside air temperature sensor aspirator duct. Insure that while installing the driver knee bolster trim panel, the inside air temperature sensor lines up with the aspirator duct. Finally, install the driver knee bolster trim panel and the I/P accessory trim plate.
