How to replace the inside air temperature sensor on Chevrolet Corvette?

Starting the Inside Air Temperature Sensor replacement requires removal of both the center instrument panel accessory trim plate and the driver knee bolster trim panel. Press the sensor retaining tabs carefully to free the sensor unit from its position within the driver knee bolster trim panel. During installation align the inside air temperature sensor to the driver knee bolster trim panel then push to lock down retaining tabs while ensuring full insertion into the aspirator duct. During the driver knee bolster trim panel installation ensure that the sensor matches correctly with the aspirator duct alignment. After placing the driver knee bolster trim panel and the I/P accessory trim plate back into position.
