    A: You must first remove the knee bolster when replacing the inside Air Temperature Sensor. Begin by unscrewing the driver information center (DIC) retaining screw then disconnect the dic from the instrument panel (I/P). First disconnect the inside Air Temperature Sensor from its electrical connector that's attached to the dic bezel. During setup connect the inside Air Temperature Sensor electrical connector to the dic bezel while verifying complete insertion before sensor installation. Use fastener precautions to reconnect the dic with the i/p then install the dic retaining screw while tightening it to 1.9 nm (17 lb in). Finally, reinstall the knee bolster.
