How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on a 4L60-E transmission on 2002 Chevrolet Express 2500?

Once you elevate the vehicle you may proceed to replace its Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) in 4l60-e transmission gearboxes. Unplug the electrical connector from the speed sensor before uninstalling the bolt which secures it. You must remove the speed sensor along with its o-ring seal before examining both components and replacing the seal if needed. Reinstall the transmission speed sensor along with its o-ring seal following the fastener notice found in service precautions. Secure the speed sensor with the bolt, tightening it to 11 nm (97 inch lbs.)lower the vehicle after completing the speed sensor reconnection and electrical connector attachment.
