How to replace the front brake line on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

Start brake hose replacement work by draining the master cylinder reservoir followed by lifting up the vehicle and keeping it stable. Take off the wheel and tire set to clean all dirt and debris from the hose and joining points. Take off the front brake hose from the front brake pipe and uninstall the front brake hose retaining bracket along with its bolt and bracket. Detach the brake hose bolt alongside the 2 seal washers and brake hose from the brake caliper. You should connect the brake hose and seal washers to the caliper unit while screwing in the brake hose bolt at 8 nm torque setting. Put the front brake hose and its mounting bracket onto the brake strut before fastening them with the retaining bolt at 15 nm force. Attach front brake hose to brake pipe then fill and adjust brake system before placing the front tire wheel assembly and letting the vehicle down.
