To begin with, remove the battery ground (negative cable and then remove the battery positive cable). Next remove the battery (positive) cable nut and cable from the underhood electrical center, then remove the battery ground (negative) cable bolt from the inner fender. Disconnect the battery cable retainer from the lower tie bar as well as remove battery ground (negative) cable nut and cable from the transaxle stud.
