Pull the Battery Cable conduit retainers off the lower tie bar, followed by the battery ground (negative) temperature. Go ahead and take off the Starter motor bat terminal nut from Starter motor, the positive Battery Cable from the Starter motor bat terminal, and remove all battery cables from the car. For installation, connect the battery ground (negative) and battery positive cables to the vehicle, making sure to follow the fastener torque specification. Mount the battery positive cable and nut to bat terminal of the Starter motor, tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Then, connect the battery ground (negative) cable and nut onto the transaxle stud, and tighten the nut to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Replace the Battery Cable conduit retainers to the lower tie bar and secure the battery ground (negative) cable and bolt to inner fender, tighten it at 5 n.m (44 lb.into). Initially connect the battery positive cable and nut with the underhood electrical center with a firmness ideal with 10 n.m (89 lb in) and then the battery positive cable and bolt the battery in a firmness of 16 n.m (12 lb ft).
