The procedure starts with removing the bolt and nut between the engine mount strut and bracket before proceeding to remove the bolt and nut between engine mount strut bracket and upper radiator support and at last removing the engine mount strut. Check the engine mount strut rubber for its condition by examining hardness and checking for splitting and cracking. First place the engine mount strut in its proper position before installing the engine mount strut bolt and nut to the engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support. Finish the installation by torquing these engine mount strut bolt to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.) and then torquing the engine mount strut nut to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
