  A: Before working on the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring replacement you need to place the Piston at top dead center (TDC) to prevent valve drop into the cylinder. First remove the Spark Plug and clear the recess area from debris before you can separate the Spark Plug from the designated cylinder. Put on the j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter to the port and use compressed air to stop the valves from moving while you remove the Rocker Arm. Compression of the valve spring runs through the j 38606 tool. In that order you should check the valve lock removal then remove the valve cap and valve spring. Check the valve spring condition before taking out the Valve Stem Oil Seal. First install the new Valve Stem Oil Seal then add the valve spring and valve cap. Use the j 38606 tool to squeeze the valve then fasten the valve locks by adding grease when required and letting go of the valve spring. Clean the valve locks before putting air pressure back and taking off the j 22794 from the Spark Plug port. Put the valve Rocker Arm and Spark Plug back in place after installation.
