Begin servicing by placing the Piston at top dead center to keep the valves above the cylinder during the job when the cylinder is open. The j22794 Spark Plug port adapter j22794 helps loosen the Spark Plug but you should clean debris from the Spark Plug hole before removing it while also avoiding hot engine temperatures. Place the j22794 onto the Spark Plug port and use compressed air to keep the valves steady. Put the j38606 valve spring compressor (J38606) onto the valve spring and squeeze it to take out valve locks, valve cap and valve spring with this tool installed. Check the valve spring health and switch it when defective. Also replace the spring seat and valve stem oil seal. Press the j22794 spring seat and oil seal onto the valve guide boss but insert it first using the spring installer. Put the valve spring and valve cap back in place then suppress the valve using j38606 before locking the valve with grease. Release the spring from the valve as you confirm that valve locks sit flat upon reinstallation of the Rocker Arm. End the process by relaxing air pressure and taking out the j22794 so you can add the Spark Plug.
