To maintain and repair the suspension strut, assemble the tools and take away the strut assembly of the vehicle. Take the strut and insert it in the Strut Compressor and compress the spring a bit. Disassemble the strut shaft by removing the retaining nut, direct the strut shaft out and replace the parts and reassemble the strut before replacing it in the vehicle.
