Press a drill through the lower Control Arm rivet heads before tapping them out using a punch and hammer. Extract the Ball Joint from the lower Control Arm after performing these steps. Fit the new Ball Joint into the lower Control Arm with the bolts seated on the bottom side away from the ball stud and install new retaining nuts afterward. Position the Control Arm bottom layer first and restore the wheels and tires afterward to the lowered vehicle. Make final adjustments to the front suspension.
