To remove the rear wheel, then remove the brake caliper while holding it without removing the brake hose. Separate the Tie Rod from knuckle and fasten the lower Control Arm with a utility stand. Next, unplug the height sensor link and the shock absorber from the lower Control Arm. Use the j 41820 Ball Joint/stud separator (J 41820) to separate the Ball Joint from the knuckle, subsequently prefacing the lower Ball Joint nut. Reduce the Control Arm with the utility stand to dip the pressure of the coil spring and remove carefully the coil spring and jounce bumper . In order to install, fix the jounce bumper on the spring, index and install spring insulator, and also index and install the spring seat with the leading spring to the lower Control Arm and the jounce bumper. Lift you lower Control Arm with the use of utility stand, install the lower ball to the knuckle tighten the lower Ball Joint loose at 85 nm ( 63 ft. Lbs.) reconnect the shock absorber and height sensor link to the lower Control Arm, reconnect the Tie Rod to the knuckle, install the brake caliper, put the rear wheel back on, and then lower the vehicle.
