How to replace the rear crankshaft seal on 2003 Cadillac CTS?

An operator must remove the engine Flywheel from the Crankshaft before replacing the Crankshaft rear oil seal. Start by center punching the steel ring portion of the rear main oil seal before drilling a tiny shallow hole into it. Screw in a self-tapping screw before using pliers to extract the rear main oil seal while cleaning every sealing surface thoroughly afterward. The new rear main oil seal receives a layer of clean engine oil before installation through the use of the rear main oil sealer installer (J 42067). After surface preparation of the rear Crankshaft flange you should reinstall the engine Flywheel onto the Crankshaft.
