How to replace the rear crankshaft seal on 2004 Cadillac CTS?

When replacing the Crankshaft rear oil seal start by removing the engine Flywheel from its position on the Crankshaft. Start by center punching the steel ring of the rear main oil seal then drill a controlled small pilot hole. The self-tapping screw allows plier access to extract the rear main oil seal while cleaning all components before installation. Use clean engine oil to coat the lip of your new rear main oil seal while you install it with the rear main oil sealer installerainer (J42067). You need to finish by cleaning the rear Crankshaft flange before putting the engine Flywheel onto the Crankshaft.
